  • Acupuncture

Rooted in over 2200 years of history, acupuncture involves the insertion of extremely fine needles into the body along acupuncture channels to stimulate your own healing response. It can be used to support physical, mental and emotional health. Treatments are given one at a time so that you have my entire focus and energy, in the serenity of my private studio, every time. • Herbal Medicine

Chinese Herbal Medicine is prescribed based on the detailed analysis of your body’s patterns and needs. I take a very classical, or "Jing Fang" approach which involves assessing each of your symptoms within the context of you as a whole. Instead of just trying to resolve symptoms, or focusing on the pathology, the focus is on optimizing your physiology. By addressing the underlying imbalances which lead to the illness we work together to promote healing from a deep, source level.

    60 minutes ~ $135 for consultation

Herbs vary in cost, custom formulas average $15 - $25 per week

  • Children

I treat children from infants to teens, and the most common initial response to needling is laughter! I use extra fine needles and quick treatments, and always let the child lead in terms of readiness. If acupuncture is a “no go” I also use laser therapy, ear seeds, moxibustion, acupressure, and herbal medicine to work with children’s health.

    30 minutes ~ $70

  • Ear Seeds

Auricular Acupuncture involves using the ear as a “micro system” to access the different areas and functions of the body and mind. It is a more modern addition to Chinese Medicine, first published in 1888 and further developed since the 1950's. Points can be stimulated by acupuncture needles or ear seeds. Ear seeds are tiny seeds or metallic balls which are taped to the points for 3-6 days and provide ongoing stimulation and healing between sessions. Gemstones are optional!

Usually applied as part of an acupuncture session, but can be a stand-alone session by request

  • Cupping

Cupping therapy was developed in ancient China using boiled bamboo segments, and has long been used throughout Asia and Europe. It may have been recently popularized by social media and Olympic athletes, but it is a modality with deep roots in traditional medicine. Cupping can be used for local muscular tension or tightness as well as for other health concerns.

Usually included as part of an acupuncture session, 50 minutes ~ $115

  • Moxibustion

The warming of acupuncture points, areas or injuries with the use of processed mugwort leaves lies at the heart of moxibustion therapy. It is so central to Chinese Medicine that historically the modality of acupuncture was referred to as "Zhen Jiu", which translates as "Acupuncture & Moxibustion". I practice both Chinese moxa and Japanese okyu styles. Deeply healing, pain relieving and rejuvenating, it is a part of my practice that both I and my clients love to do.
