Imagine...!

Can you imagine if our federal government recognized the value of natural health care and covered practices for health sustainability and wellness care under the Canada Health Act, including chiropractic care, massage therapy, acupuncture, and homeopathic and naturopathic medicines? And supported, promoted, and enhanced Canadians’ access to holistic health services and natural products? And educated and empowered Canadians on holistic approaches to optimize and maintain their natural immunity and well-being?

I can! And it looks fantastic to me!

Remember to sign the petition calling on the Canadian Government to do just that! The deadline is March 3rd, so sign now and send along to anyone else you know who:

• uses acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy, and/or naturopathy (56%+ of Canadians)

• takes vitamins, herbs, and/or supplements (16 million+ Canadians)

Isn’t that pretty much everyone you know?!

AND, send it to all those who would like to have access to all of the above but are unable to. There is a relationship between socioeconomic status and access to these modes of care. Income, education levels, and food insecurity are all interrelated with health behaviours and outcomes, and it would be so great to see the government support measures to make access to health care more available and equal for all.
