Happy Earth Day

A client told me once that one of the side effects of her working with me - receiving acupuncture and taking herbal medicine - was that she was no longer able to kill spiders in her home. Previously, she said, she would have just whacked them. But then she found herself unable to, and the only reason she could put a finger on was that through our treatments she was more tuned in overall, including, it seemed, right down to the arachnid world.

Now, when people ask me about potential acupuncture side effects, I sometimes say “You may be unable to kill insects.”

My wish this Earth Day is that this sense of interconnection with the web of all life on our planet is strengthened for all, wherever you are.

Happy Earth Day.

Aaand, this was supposed to end there. But then I looked down between my arms and look who I spied - a little moth appreciating my blog. See? SEE?!?!? ALL INTERCONNECTED! =)
